A Coat Drive Filled with Love and Generosity
As the cold winds of winter settled in, the Daily Bread in Abundance (DBIA) team felt a strong calling to meet a vital need in their community: warmth. While food nourishes the body, warm clothing offers comfort and protection, and no one should have to face the bitter cold without it.
This year, DBIA launched a Community Coat Drive with a simple yet powerful goal—to gather coats, jackets, and winter gear for individuals and families who couldn’t afford them. The response was nothing short of miraculous!
From the very first day, donations poured in. Families, churches, and local businesses all came together, each giving what they could. Gently used coats were dropped off with care, and many people even purchased brand-new coats, eager to make a difference for someone they may never meet.
